Huurcarrousel on Zekeringstraat 27 - 35 in Amsterdam
Various rental transactions have led to the complete lease of the Penta Trade Park complex on Zekeringstraat, consisting of 5 building parts with a size of approx. 11,000 m². The complex is owned by a joint venture between Ares Asset Management and APF International.
The largest tenant, Avantium, a leading company in (sustainable) chemical technology, expanded their lease by 1,345 m² to a total area of 6,732 m². The entire rental contract has been agreed for a period of 10 years as of Q2 2018. Both owner and tenant will invest heavily in the building in order to comply with Avantium’s standards, as well as to make the building more sustainable. With this, the 3 parts of the building will be entirely rented to Avantium. To enable this expansion, a contract termination agreement has been concluded with tenant Hago Nederland. This party will move to Zekeringstraat 33 in Q1 2018. In addition to Avantium, a data centre operator will enter into a long-term lease for a part of the building.
In the other building in the complex, the Element Materials Technology’s lease contract has recently been extended (approximately 1,550m²) and two new lease contracts have been agreed, namely with Opdrachtenbank (388m²) and Loyaltylab (643m²). This means that the complex is fully let and
optimised since the purchase by the joint venture in 2015.
