Drs. K. Streefkerk (1942) studied business economics at the Nederlandsche Economische Hogeschool [Netherlands School of Economics] in Rotterdam. Having passed his Master’s examination and performed national service, in 1969 he joined Pakhoed Holding N.V. as assistant concern controller. In 1971, he was made division controller of the property division Blauwhoed.
In 1975, he was appointed division director of Blauwhoed and President of Hexalon, the property investment fund focussing on the United States, in which the shareholders were Blauwhoed and a number of institutional investors. Blauwhoed’s activities covered the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and the United States.
During the period 1978 –1980, he worked as a director of Rodamco Beheer B.V., where he was charged with creating and launching Rodamco N.V. on the stock exchange. Rodamco N.V.’s activities also took place in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and the United States.
From 1980 to 1984, he was active as a director of AmNedVast B.V., specialising in American property.
In 1984, together with a number of partners, he set up the VastNed Groep, the Board of which he chaired until the end of 2002. Activities consisted of management of the VastNed stocks and the introduction of nine retail partnerships and the listed property fund Immocorp in Luxembourg. VastNedGroep’s property activities covered the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Germany.
Since 2003, he has been a partner in Lencor Estates, active in Canadian property, and in February 2004 he set up APF International with J.Th. Ladenius.
